Gave a very assured performance even if Derry lost to Down.
Antrim Hurler
Solid at the back as Antrim limited Mayo to only seven points.
Down
Outstanding, absolutely outstanding against Derry. Remarkably consistent as well.
Monaghan
McAnespie did an excellent job putting the shackles on Darren McCurry.
Donegal
Had a day to remember as he scored his first goal at senior level for Donegal against Meath.
Monaghan
The Monaghan skipper was superb in his defensive duties and also helped out the attack.
Cavan
The best player on show as Cavan got their first win of the campaign against Westmeath.
Fermanagh
Did much to help Fermanagh gain a foothold in the middle against Roscommon.
Cavan
Sprung from the bench at half-time and led Cavan’s second-half revival against Westmeath, scoring two points as well.
Antrim Hurling
Covered every blade of grass against Mayo, and helped himself to 1-3 as well in a sterling individual performance.
Down Hurling
Makes the grade yet again for another fine display. He always scores heavy and this time he scored 1-5 from play against Roscommon.
Fermanagh
His contribution was immense after the break as Fermanagh claimed a smash-and-grab win over the Rossies.
Donegal
Absolutely electric in attack as Donegal tore Meath asunder in an easy league win.
Tyrone Ladies
The Trillick attacker was superb throughout as Tyrone claimed a rare league win over Armagh.
Donegal Ladies
Her injury-time goal snatched victory against Waterford.
