TAKE Your Points Episode 45 sees former Antrim player Kevin Niblock join Ronan Scott to discuss the Ulster Championship semi-finals.
Niblock believes that, based on the performances in the last four matches, Tyrone look like the team with the game plan to win the Ulster final.
The St Gall’s man has his say about the performances of Monaghan and Armagh, and talks about why the game was so open. He praises his friend Conor McManus for his incredible performance as well, and says that the Farney team have got stronger.
He says that he thinks that Kieran McGeeney deserves more time with Armagh because of the progress that he has made in the past six years.
He also believes that the loss of Neil McGee put paid to Donegal’s hopes, but he reckons they will be back stronger next year.
Niblock spoke about Antrim’s performance this year. He thinks they are more cohesive and he reveals what he has heard from the panel.
Gerard O’Kane also joined the show to talk about the All-Ireland Derry minors. He also talks about how he thought he was going to win Sam Maguire when he captained Derry the All-Ireland minor title. While it didn’t happen, but he thinks that there is better chance for it to happen now.
