ULSTER Schools GAA have announced that there will be no competitions run during the 2020/21 school year as a result up the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of the 2019/20 competitions also had to be cancelled, with the MacRory Cup and MacLarnon Cup shared between the finalists.
“Unfortunately Ulster Schools GAA have reluctantly accepted that it will not be possible to complete any formal competitions during the current school year 2020/21,” a letter to schools said.
They do hope to run “localised, informal activity” should the pandemic situation allow them to.
