Two second half goals from Brandon Boyd sent Red High well on their way towards a first MacLarnon Cup final appearance in thirteen years.
Red High led by three at the break after a nip and tuck opening thirty minutes with Ruairi O’Hare leading the charge.
In the second half, Aidan Scullion who hit seven points over the course of the contest tried to drag his side back into the game, but his best effort’s fell to a brace of second half goals from Boyd.
Downpatrick are the first team to book their place in the decider which will take place on Monday March 18th.
Cathair Dhoire take on Inis Eoghain in the other semi-final but a date is yet to be set for this fixture.
