ROBBIE Brennan will be proposed as the new Meath manager at the next meeting of Meath GAA.
Brennan is tipped to have two Ulster coaches named on his management ticket.
The Kilmacud Crokes manager has been proposed as the successor to Colm O’Rourke who stepped down after the 2024 season.
Brennan’s ticket includes Tyrone All-Ireland winner Joe McMahon and former Monaghan coach Martin Corey.
McMahon was part of the Red Hands’ management team – under Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan – that delivered the county’s 2021 All-Ireland title.
Corey – a twin brother of former Monaghan boss Vinny – has coached both Monaghan and Cavan.
The appointment in Meath will leave Derry, Westmeath, New York and Clare as the only counties to appointment their management teams ahead of the 2025 season.
