Two Ulster sides still in Sigerson Cup contention

REIGNING champions Ulster University and St Mary’s are still in the mix for this season’s Sigerson title.

Action thickens up next week with four Round Three ties down for decision as the competition’s knock-out element continues.

St Mary’s were winners over Queen’s but defeat to TUD leave them facing a trip to Maynooth on Wednesday night.

For UU, they have won both games – against ATU Sligo and UL – booked their spot in the quarter-finals.

Queen’s and ATU Donegal have bowed out of the competition.

UU are in the quarter-finals alongside TUD, UCD and TUS Midlands.

Round Three – first team listed will play at home

Tuesday
DCU v ATU Sligo – 8pm
UL v University of Galway – 7pm
MTU Cork v MTU Kerry – 7pm
Wednesday
Maynooth v St Mary’s – 7pm
