ST Mary’s will face UCC in next week’s Sigerson Cup quarter-finals after today’s draw.
The game will be played at a neutral venue, tbc, due to it being a Ulster-Munster clash.
UCC needed penalties to see off Queen’s in Wednesday’s Round Three clash in Abbortstown.
Three goals from Luke Donnelly brought Queen’s back from the brink to force extra time in a 3-10 to 0-19 draw.
St Mary’s, the last Ulster team to win the title back in 2017, qualified for the last eight via the front door with away wins over SETU Carlow (0-14 to 0-8) and ATU Sligo (1-10 to 0-6).
A 1-2 tally from Derry’s Cormac Murphy held them to victory in Sligo last week.
Billy Morgan’s UCC lost their opening game to last year’s runners up UL before bouncing back with wins over ATU Galway and last night’s dramatic victory over Queen’s
