MONAGHAN manager Malachy O’Rourke has added former Oriel captain Owen Lennon to his backroom team for the 2017 season.
Lennon comes in alongside Colin McAree after selector Finbarr Fitzpatrick decided to step away.
An ankle injury forced Lennon to retire last January, but he made a very promising start to his managerial career with Latton.
After a poor beginning, the side became one of the form teams in the county with a championship win over eventual victors Scotstown the highlight of the season.
