FORMER Fermanagh goalkeeper Pat Cadden has been appointed as the new minor football manager.
The St Patrick’s Donagh clubman takes over from Niall McElory.
Cadden, who also played outfield for Fermanagh, will be assisted in the role by former teammates Aidan Breen and Sean Quigley.
After stepping away from his playing career, the 2008 championship winner, moved into management with Aghadrumsee.
Recently, he was a goalkeeping coach with the county seniors under current manager Kieran Donnelly.
Fermanagh have never won an Ulster minor title. Their last appearance in the final was in 2003, a 3-9 to 0-9 defeat to Tyrone.
Ironically, Padden played in that final and scored one of their goals in the Ulster semi-final win over Down.
