THE 2023 Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup draw will take place next month with a similar format to the competition.
All nine counties will be placed in three groups of three, with one home and away game each.
The top team – and the best runner up – will advance to the semi-finals.
The draw is set for Tuesday, December 13 in Cookstown’s Glenavon Hotel.
Champions Monaghan are under the management of Vinnie Corey, with beaten finalists Donegal also under new management after Paddy Carr’s appointment.
It will also give Conor Laverty (Down) and Andy McEntee (Antrim) a chance to run their eye over their respective squads ahead of the NFL.
Tyrone, 17 times winners of the competition, have been boosted by the new that Mattie Donnelly, Peter Harte and Ronan McNamee are back on board.
