LOUP have appointed a new senior football manager ahead of the new season.
Lurgan man Shane McConville has taken over from former Loup championship winner Fionntán Devlin.
McConville, a native of St Paul’s steered them to the 2014 Armagh intermediate title and also managed Maghery to senior success two years later.
He was back in charge of his native St Paul’s last season, losing the Armagh intermediate decider at the hands of All-Ireland champions Cullyhanna.
He will have another Lurgan man, Gary McConville, with him in Loup.
Former Ulster champions Loup were last winners of the John McLaughlin Cup in 2009 and missed out on qualification from the group stages last season.
