ARMAGH clubs are expected to get an update from the county board early next week on how the 2020 league campaign is set to be completed.
The saga has become a massive topic of conversation within the Orchard county with different clubs hoping for different outcomes depending on how they had performed prior to its premature postponement due to Covid-19.
Clubs had been presented with a number of options earlier in the year, while proposals from clubs were also encouraged.
It is understood that at least one club submitted a proposal calling for the 2020 leagues to be cancelled completely, but it is unlikely to be adopted as Armagh are committed to having some sort of conclusion to the competitions.
The issue is complicated by the fact that the leagues in Armagh are linked to championship gradings, while seedings also result from league finishing positions.
