2022 Ulster JHC Final
Setanta 1-22 Shane O’Neill’s 0-15
By Michael McMullan
DAVIN Flynn and Declan Coulter shot Setanta to Ulster glory with a late burst against Shane O’Neill’s of Glenarm.
The Donegal champions – backboned by a host of players with inter-county experience – opted to play against the breeze and were two points down at the break.
It took them a further 17 minutes to edge their noses in front with Davin Flynn’s point.
The Antrim side hung on as the game began to change before Flynn’s 57th minute goal opened a five-point gap to get one hand on the cup.
Coulter added four frees to seal the deal.
Setanta now face British Champions Kilburn Gaels in the Twinning Final with an All-Ireland semi-final spot up for grabs.
