DUNGANNON native Eileen Jones Hardy was selected President elect of the Ulster Ladies Gaelic Football Association at Sunday’s annual congress.
A teacher by profession, she will bring a wealth of experience to the role.
Eileen has played football, refereed at county, provincial and national level and been a top administrator for many years.
This will be her second time taking the top post in the province however last time out her stint was cut short due to the worldwide Covid epidemic.
For the past two seasons she has represented Ulster Ladies on the provincial integration committee.
During her new term she will play a major part in overseeing Ulster’s new 5-year Strategic Plan, entitled “Leading the Way”.
Eileen will take up her post in January 2026.
