John Rehill steps down as Enniskillen Gaels manager

By Michael McMullan

Enniskillen Gaels have confirmed that John Rehill has stepped down after five seasons as senior manager.

“John has served the club with great distinction over the years as both a player and coach,” the club commented in a statement on social media.

“We thank John and his back room team of Simon Bradley, Dara McManus & Charlie Kane for all their hard work and time over the past five years.”

During that time, the Gaels returned to Division 1, won an Intermediate Championship and regained their status in the senior championship.

“Reaching both League and Championship finals this season but unfortunately coming up short against an experienced Derrygonnelly Harps side on both occasions,” the statement continued.

“We wish you all well in your future endeavours and have no doubt we’ll see you back involved with the club in the near future.”
