Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Stars returns

THE stage is set for the twelfth annual Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Stars.

The biggest night in the Ulster GAA club calendar is set to return to the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan on Friday, March 10.

BBC Radio Ulster’s Connor Phillips will take the reins and bring those in attendance on a journey of celebration as the four All-Star teams are announced. The event will also celebrate the best managers, dual players and a stalwart of GAA will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Gaelic Life brought this year’s sponsors together last Thursday morning at the Hill of the O’Neill in Dungannon to mark the return of the event. Once again Padraic McKeever and his team at McKvr Sports have thrown their weight behind the event and are the overall sponsor.

Padraic said; “McKeever Sports are delighted to once again be the headline sponsor of the Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Star Awards.

“Ulster is blessed to have such a strong GAA community, and we are always proud to be involved in showcasing the talent, pride, and passion of the players.

“We are extremely excited to continue to play our part in what has now become one of the biggest events in the GAA calendar.”

Each All-Star will receive a specially designed All-Stars jersey, quarter-zip and back pack produced by McKeever Sports.

Event organiser, Catherine Cassidy said, ‘‘The All-Stars are simply not possible without our sponsors and we were delighted to have so many in attendance at our launch event.

“We look forward to returning to the Hillgrove Hotel for this year’s celebrations where we’ll recognise the very best of Ulster across all four codes.’’

Two new categories have been added to this year’s line up; Ladies Football Manager of the Year and Camogie Manager of the Year. All four codes will be represented equally at the awards, something Gaelic Life are very proud of.

The process will ramp up in next week’s edition when we announce the shortlist for our four All-Star teams.
