THE championship action was in full flow last weekend as the action begins to heat up towards the business end.
Here is our selection of the star players from games involving Ulster teams.
1 RONAN BURNS Down
Toss of a coin with Shaun Patton, but his saves would ultimately prove so decisive.
2 PEADAR MOGAN Donegal
Just the four points from play as he stretched his legs on the Clones turf.
3 FINNBARR ROARTY Donegal
Youngster already looks like a wily veteran. Got up for a good score.
4 PATRICK TURNER Derry
Held the dangerous Jack Morrissey to a single point from play as the Oakleafers impressed in London.
5 DESSIE WARD Monaghan
Led the fightback for Monaghan. Still such an underrated player.
6 DANIEL GUINNESS Down
One of Down’s leaders for years now, and sparked the turnaround with a quickfire 1-2 against Fermanagh.
7 DYLAN MULLIGAN Cavan
Showed real desire and no shortage of class in the impressive Lory Meagher win over Monaghan.
8 ODHRÁN MURDOCK Down
Ruled the skies in the final quarter to give Down the platform to come back against Fermanagh.

Player of the Match as Donegal held off Monaghan in an Ulster MFC cracker.

That left wand is so hard to tie down, and he set the tone with some fine scores.

Hit 1-4 in the Ulster MFC win over Antrim.
12 KILLIAN KEARNS Monaghan
Some classy scores in the Leo Murphy u-20 semi-final win over Antrim on Monday evening.

Caused the Derry defence problems in their eye-catching Ulster MFC win.
15 EOIN LONG Tyrone
Finished with a neat 1-5 tally in the comfortable Ulster Minor win over Fermanagh.
