Gaelic Life team of the week

WHAT a weekend it was with the leagues in full flow with scores and incidents bursting from games across the land.

Here is our selection from games involving Ulster teams.

1  CONOR MCELHATTON Tyrone

Pulled off a series of fine saves as massive underdogs Tyrone gave Kerry a good game.

2 CONAL WILSON Armagh

Two-pointer was always going to be huge in the narrow UMFL win over Monaghan. Battled so well throughout.

3 TOMÁS MCCORMACK Armagh

One of the finds of the season for Armagh – his driving runs forward is a real weapon.

4 PETER TEAGUE Tyrone

Another good outing against Dublin to round off a fine league campaign for the Coalisland man.

5 ROÍSÍN RODGERS Donegal

Dropped back to pick up danger player Aishling Moloney and did so well.

6 RICHIE MULLAN Derry

Excellent as Derry took Donegal apart.

7 DANNY MAGILL Down

His constant running caused Monaghan major issues, scored two points.

8 BRIAN KENNEDY Tyrone

Dominated the exchanges around the middle in a real captain’s performance.

9 JOE MCDADE Fermanagh

A really eye-catching performance in the hard-fought win over Laois.

10 ÉABHAN MCELHINNEY Derry

Grabbed the only goal of the game and knocked over a few points in the win in Meath.

11 FRANCIS MCBRIEN Fermanagh

Racked up a dozen points in the victory over Lancashire.

Three two-pointers as Antrim gave Kildare a scare in Newbridge.
