WHAT a weekend it was with the leagues in full flow with scores and incidents bursting from games across the land.
Here is our selection from games involving Ulster teams.
1 NIALL MORGAN Tyrone
Has reached such a level of excellence, that anything lower than 8/10 is considered poor.
2 CIAN BAUDANT Cross & Passion
A rock at the back as the Antrim school won the All-Ireland B title.
3 RIAN COLLINS St Patrick’s, Maghera
That’s how you defend at Croke Park. Amazing effort, won duel after duel after duel.
4 PETER TEAGUE Tyrone
Did very well at the back and even got up for a point in the vital win in Donegal.
5 PÁDRAIG HARAN St Patrick’s, Maghera
On a day when many stood tall, Haran was the pick of the lot in the Hogan Cup final.
6 LIAM GLACKIN Cross & Passion
A real captain’s performance as the Paddy Buggy Cup returned to the school.
7 SHEA GAFFNEY Armagh
Two points were massive – the second outstanding – but brilliant block to deny Dylan McKeever too.
8 NICOLE MCATAMNEY Antrim
Her hooking and blocking disrupted any Down momentum as they reached the 1B final.
9 JAMIE MULGREW Tyrone
Dominated as Tyrone eased past Derry in the Ulster Minor League.
10 STEPHEN O’HANLON Monaghan
His speed caused Meath all sorts of bother and helped himself to four points too.
11 DARA MCVEETY Cavan
Overcame an injury to start in Roscommon, and really was the difference between the sides.
12 JOSEPH GIBBONS Donegal
The Aodh Ruadh man plundered 1-2 as Donegal reached the UML semi-finals.
13 JACK MCCARRON Monaghan
Only on as a first-half sub but scored for fun in Navan.
14 PAT HAVERN Down
The king of the two-pointers – he had Westmeath on toast in their thriller.
15 RYAN TREANOR Burren
Star of the show as Burren won the Ulster League.
