Brought the power as Meath were downed in a high-scoring cracker.

9 GERARD WALSH Antrim

Three points from play in the vital win over Laois that all but secured their safety.

10 RONAN MARTIN Armagh

The lefty caused Down all sorts of problems in Newry as Armagh won their Ulster Minor League opener.

11 AIMEE LENNON Derry

Nipped in for two goals as Derry won an Ulster derby against Armagh.

12 FIONTANN BRADLEY Antrim

Got into double figures as Antrim defeated Down in the Ulster U-20 final.

13 BRONAGH SMYTH Fermanagh

Scored heavily against a seriously depleted Kilkenny outfit.

14 PEARSE ÓG MCCRICKARD Down

Five points from play helped seal a famous day for Down hurling down in Munster.

15 JAMES MCNAUGHTON Antrim

A regular in Team of the Week at this stage, and Laois were the latest to suffer as he hit an impressive 2-11.
