IT was another weekend of league action with the camogie campaign getting off the ground as well.
Here is our selection from games involving Ulster teams.
1 NIALL MORGAN Tyrone
Tyrone’s main source of scores on a disappointing day.
2 CIARA CLARKE Fermanagh
Solid at the back as Fermanagh picked up the points in Wicklow.
3 RIAN MCNALLY South West College
Broke forward time and time again as the college won the Corn na Mac Léinn Cup for the first time.
4 BRENDAN MCCOLE Donegal
Big turnovers set the tone for a motivated Tir Chonaill defence.
5 RYAN MCHUGH Donegal
Backed up his Killarney performance with another top showing.
6 DARA MCVEETY Cavan
Best player on the pitch as Cavan picked up two crucial points against Louth.
7 EOIN MCEVOY Derry
Helped set the foundations for Derry’s comeback by cutting down Shane Walsh’s influence.
8 ANNA MULHOLLAND Antrim
On the scoring trail, including a goal, in the big win over Longford.
9 ANDREW MURNIN Armagh
A tough day for Armagh but Murnin made some great fetches and kicked a brilliant two-pointer.
10 DERVLA COSGRAVE Antrim
Her scoring prowess allowed the Saffrons to turn things around against Wexford
11 CONOR MADDEN Cavan
What a finish for the goal, and ended up with 1-2 in all at Kingspan Breffni.
12 LACHLAN MURRAY Derry
The super-sub was inspirational in the second half. TG4’s player of the match despite only coming on after 44 minutes.
13 PATRICK MCBREARTY Donegal
Looked razor sharp and, in truth, Armagh had no answer.
14 KATIE MOLLOY Antrim
Scored a few and set up a few as Antrim started their 1B season with a win.
15 EMMA QUINN St Patrick’s, Maghera
The free-taker was in sublime form but their All-Ireland dream came up short.
