Gaelic Life team of the week

WHAT a weekend it was for Armagh as they saw off Galway to land their second All-Ireland title.

There were scenes of joy both in Dublin and at their banquet in the Carrickdale Hotel.

Cavan minor ladies were crowned All-Ireland champions with clubs also

Three points from the middle sector was important in their draw with Galbally..

7 BEN HARPER Castlederg

Harper’s 1-3 and the extra input downed Augher.

8 EOIN SOMERVILLE Ramor United

A starring role as Ramor ended a 28-year wait for league success.

9 BEN CREALEY Armagh

Kicked two points to put Armagh on their way to glory in the middle third in a starring performance.

10 ELLA SHERIDAN   Cavan

Sheridan’s 1-5 helped Cavan minors to All-Ireland glory..

11 BRIAN McINTYRE St Eunan’s

Another impressive performance helped his side to victory over MacCumhaill’s.

12 OISIN CONATY Armagh

Man of the match with three points to leave  Galway chasing the game.

13 MARK BRADLEY Killyclogher

‘Sparky’ hit six points to help see off Trillick,

14 PAUL DONAGHY Dungannon

His 1-8 was central to victory over Carrickmore

15 SEANIE McINTOSH Glenariffe

Hit 3-6 as Glenariffe got their championship off the ground against St Gall’s.
