Gaelic Life team of the week

AFTER another weekend of action, here is our latest Gaelic Life Team of the Week

1 GARY O’ROURKE Cavan

Two huge one-on-one saves in the draw with Meath.

2 PETER MCGRANE Armagh

Has been given his chance and the youngster continues to take it. Really positive showing at Brewster Park.

3 RYAN MCEVOY Down

So comfortable, especially in the first half, against Sligo.

4 ZOE LOUGHRAN Tyrone

Wore four on her back but operated much further forward and excelled against Donegal.

CAOLAN MCGONAGLE Donegal

One of Donegal’s best in their tough win over Louth.

6 CIARA BROWN   Antrim

Led by example, and got a point, as injury-plagued Antrim saw off Sligo.

7 DANIEL GUINNESS  Down

Tore Sligo apart. In fantastic form.

8 STEFAN CAMPBELL Armagh

Patchy cameo against Donegal, but excellent in Brewster Park as Armagh took another step towards promotion.

9 CLARE MULVENNA Down

Super in the centre as Down eased past Offaly in Ferbane.

10 CARA LITTLE   TYRONE

Scored 2-3 as the Red Hands made it two from two against Wicklow.

11 EIMEAR SMYTH Fermanagh

Posted 0-10 in the 40 minutes she was on the field. An amazing talent.

12 JOE MCLAUGHLIN St Killian’s Garron Tower

Just the 3-10 to his name as the school made the Paddy Buggy Cup final for the first time following victory over Portumna.

13 PATRICK MCBREARTY Donegal

Key contribution as Donegal found Louth hard to shake off.

14 AIMEE MACKIN Armagh

Some majestic score-taking as Armagh made it five from five with a win over Kerry.

15 SHANE MCGUIGAN Derry

Derry may have been well beaten by Dublin but McGuigan was superb once again. Ulster’s best forward at the moment?
