GAA release update on the integration of all codes

THE Steering Group on Integration (SGI) of the Camogie Association, the Gaelic Athletic Association, and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association, the group responsible for managing the integration of the three organisations, is continuing its work with a special emphasis on research and member

engagement for 2023.

Formed under chairperson Mary McAleese in September 2022, a comprehensive listening process across all three organisations has already commenced and will continue over the remainder of year.

The working group will meet with members of clubs operating on a ‘One Club’ model’, other clubs, players’ representatives, county boards and other
interested parties in the coming months.

Later in the year, members from all three organisations will be afforded the chance to provide their views by way of a survey on the opportunities and challenges that full integration between the three bodies will present.

The findings from this research will help to inform the future work of the SGI  and the timescale of the project.

The SGI is made up of three Uachtaráins (Hilda Breslin CA, Larry McCarthy GAA and Mícheál Naughton LGFA), the three Ard Stiúrthóirí (Sinéad McNulty CA,
Tom Ryan GAA and Helen O Rourke LGFA), Mary McAleese as Chair and project managed by Mark Dorman.

Members of all three organisations will be kept informed of progress
