CARRYDUFF have been given a boost with the news of former Fermanagh star Eoin Donnelly’s move to the club
Donnelly retired from the inter-county game at the end of last season after over 100 appearances for Fermanagh.
The Coa man has been living in Carryduff for the last five years and works in Belfast.
Donnelly played in last week’s 2-8 to 0-9 win over Downpatrick in the league opener.
Carryduff drew with Bryansford 1-11 to 0-14 on Thursday night and sit join second behind leaders Burren.
Donnelly’s addition to Finnian Moriarty’s side will be a boost as they aim to build on their progression in recent seasons.
Having lost to Kilcoo in the 2019 Down Championship final, the Magpies needed a late point from Dylan Ward to edge Carryduff in a 1-18 to 3-11 extra-time win on their way to Down, Ulster and All-Ireland glory.
