Donegal name squad for Sunday’s visit of Derry

DONEGAL put the Anglo Celt Cup on the line on Sunday in Ballybofey (2pm) and manager Jim McGuinness has named his side.

He hands a championship debut to Naomh Conaill clubmate Finbarr Roarty in defence with Aaron Doherty listed to start for the first time, having came on against Mayo in the last league game of the season.

There is a return for Michael Langan, his first start since the win over Kerry, while Jason McGee is named on the bench having not played a minute of action this season.

Leading attacking trio but Patrick McBrearty, Michael Murphy and Oisín Gallen have all been named on the bench.

Gallen hasn’t featured since their Round Five win over Derry with skipper McBrearty not having played since the win over All-Ireland champions Armagh. Eoghan Bán Gallagher misses the game through injury.
