NB – Fixture details correct at the time of writing. Check details before you travel.

ANTRIM SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

DUNLOY V CUSHENDALL
Sunday, Ballycastle, 2pm
THE last two Ulster champions go toe to toe once again to get their hands on the Volunteer Cup. Dunloy were comfortable winners over Loughgiel while the ‘Dall needed extra-time the Neil McManus waving his wand for a 14-point haul. A fine game in prospect. A hard one to call.
Verdict: Cushendall

ANTRIM INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CAREY V GLENARIFFE
Saturday, Loughgiel, 2pm
CAREY’S win when the teams met in the group stages saw them finish top and they’ve made it back to a clash that defines the season. Glenariffe have rattled up some impressive tallies and it could be enough to grant them the favourites’ tag.
Verdict: Glenariffe

ARMAGH SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CLAN NA GAEL V CLANN ÉiREANN
Sunday, BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, 4.15pm
THIS one is really the toss of a coin and both sides will feel extremely confident that they can get their hands on the cup. The Clan na Gael story is remarkable, and they will have no fear, but Clann Éireann may just edge what should be a brilliant finale to the year.
Verdict: Clann Éireann

ARMAGH INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CARRICKCRUPPEM V ST PAUL’S
Sunday, BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, 2.00pm
THERE can be no doubt about it, these are the best two teams in the Intermediate Championship. Carrickcruppen won the competition in 2021 while St Paul’s have lost three of the last four finals, so their motivation should be greater.
Verdict: St Paul’s

ARMAGH JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL REPLAY

COLLEGELAND V AN PORT MOR
Saturday, BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, 4.00pm
THE first game was just as tight and tense as you’d expect when two great rivals clash on championship final day. I have a feeling that An Port Mor may have missed their chance, and Collegeland will collect the Sean Quinn Cup on Saturday evening.
Verdict: Collegeland

CAVAN SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CROSSERLOUGH V RAMOR
Sunday, Kingspan Breffni, 4pm
FOR the first time since 2021, a name other than Gowna’s will be on the cup. On that occasion it was Ramor who came out in top in Cavan, and they take on Crosserlough, 2020 champions, in an enticing final pairing this Sunday. Crosserlough were racking up big scores until their hard-earned win over Cavan Gaels last day out, and it’s hard not to be convinced by Ramor’s semi-final win over Gowna.
Verdict: Ramor

DERRY SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

SLEACHT NEILL V BANAGHER
Sunday, Owenbeg, 4pm
THE reigning champions are eyeing up a 12th successive senior title this weekend. Banagher were Ulster intermediate winners recently and have progressed to the senior decider. Cormac O’Doherty missed Sleacht Néill’s win over Kevin Lynch’s but the young guns stepped up to the mark.
Verdict: Sleacht Néill

DERRY INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

SWATRAGH V KEVIN LYNCH’S
Sunday, Owenbeg, 2pm
SCORE difference saw Kevin Lynch’s finish second in the group and up against Sleacht Néill in the senior semi-final. As a result, they find themselves in the intermediate decider this weekend. The teams drew in the group stages. Another tight one awaits.
Verdict: Kevin Lynch’s

DERRY JUNIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

LAVEY V BALLINSCREEN
Sunday, Owenbeg, 12noon
LAVEY have won three minor titles in a row but find themselves looking over the wall at senior level. Ballinascreen have failed to nail down any championship consistency over the years. Both will fancy their chances. They drew in the group.
Verdict: Lavey

DERRY SENIOR CAMOGIE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

SWATRAGH V SLEACHT NÉILL
Saturday, Glen, 3pm
LIKE their hurlers, the Sleacht Néill camogs have built a dynasty with younger players coming into freshen up the squad. Swatragh came from two goals down to beat Ballinascreen in their semi-final but this is a step up again.
Verdict: Sleacht Néill

DOWN SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

BALLYGALGET V PORTAFERRY

Sunday, Páirc Esler, Newry, 4.00pm
BALLYGALGET are the only unbeaten team left in the championship having already picked up a victory over Portaferry in the group stages. But this is where the reigning champs will have their eyes on revenge, and it should make for a great game.
Verdict: Portaferry

DOWN INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CARRYDUFF V BREDAGH
Saturday, Páirc Esler, Newry, 5.00pm
BOTH teams struggled in the group stages of the Senior Championship but look more comfortable at this grade. Carryduff edged the clash when they met earlier, but Bredagh defeated Carryduff in last years final and will be keen to retain their title.

Verdict: Bredagh

DOWN JUNIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

CASTLEWELLAN V BALLELA
Friday, Páirc Esler, Newry, 7.15pm
CASTLEWELLAN topped the group in the round robin series and lost just one game, which was to Bellela. That dynamic should make for a really interesting showpiece on Friday evening, with Bellela perhaps just edging it.
Verdict: Bellela

FERMANAGH INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

IRVINESTOWN V LISNASKEA
Saturday, Brewster Park, 6pm
IRVINESTOWN have been making serious strides at underage level, winning the last four minor championships in-a-row in Fermanagh, and now they stand on the cusp of a first Intermediate Championship title since 2015 with Lisnaskea standing in their way. They’re the two form teams in this year’s competition and they happened to meet in the group stages, playing out a low-scoring draw. Lisnaskea won last year’s Junior title and it would be a great achievement to add more silverware to the trophy cabinet, but it’ll be tight.
Verdict: Irvinestown

MONAGHAN JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

DRUMHOWAN V EIRE ÓG
Sunday, Scotstown, 3.30pm
DRUMHOWAN topped their group with four wins from four and carried that winning momentum right through the knockout stages. One of those victories was a 1-8 to 0-8 win over Eire Óg and they should be fit to see out the job this weekend.
Verdict: Eire Óg

MONAGHAN INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RELEGATION ROUND THREE

MONAGHAN HARPS V CLONES
Sunday, Sean McDermott’s, 3.00pm
THE Harps are currently top of the pile but depending on how other results fair, could find themselves dragged into a relegation playoff. They’ll not want that to happen and if they avoid defeat on Sunday, they’ll be sure of their status for next season.
Verdict: Blackhill

BLACKHILL V EMYVALE
Sunday, TBC, 3.00pm
BLACKHILL were relegated through the league and will face a relegation playoff even if they pick up a victory this weekend. Emyvale are currently bottom of the pack and need to win to remain in the fight for survival.
Verdict: Blackhill

TYRONE INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALLCHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

MOY V DERRYLAUGHAN
Saturday, O’Neill’s Healy Park, 6pm
DERRYLAUGHAN have looked very good at certain junctures en route to the final but they certainly haven’t had it all their own way either. The Moy have Ryan Coleman back in action which is a big boost to the cause. This is a repeat of the 2017 final. Maybe there’ll be a different outcome on this occasion though.
Verdict: Derrylaughan

TYRONE SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

TRILLICK V ERRIGAL CIARAN

Sunday, O’Neill’s Park, 4pm
THIS could be an epic. It’s the same pairing as last year, Trillick coming up trumps after extra-time and deservedly so. They looked at their imperious best against Dungannon Clarkes in the semis, but Errigal have come through some big battles and won’t be lacking in confidence either. Darragh Canavan should be fit to play having injured his shoulder against Killyclogher, and it’ll take a massive performance from Errigal to take this one. Maybe it’s Trillick for the back-to-back.
Verdict: Trillick
