ARMAGH’S BOX-IT Athletic Grounds will host next month’s all-Ulster clash of Derry and Monaghan in the All-Ireland minor final.
It follows on from last season’s all-Connacht final between Galway and Mayo being hosted in Roscommon’s Dr Hyde Park.
It will be the fourth time the counties have met at minor level this season since Derry’s won the opening round of the league.
More recently, the counties met in the Ulster Championship final with Derry prevailing after extra-time and penalties in Armagh.
Derry saw off All-Ireland champions Galway before Sunday’s semi-final win over Dublin in Armagh.
Monaghan also had two commanding performances against Mayo and Kerry since losing the Ulster final.
It will be a first appearance in the final for Monaghan in 84 years with Derry chasing a sixth title.
