CARGIN take on Rossa as the Antrim Senior Championship gets under way this weekend.
Ronan Devlin’s side lost the recent league final to St Brigid’s and now put their title on the line.
Cargin are going for a third successive title and an eighth in the last decade.
St Brigid’s will face Belfast rivals St Gall’s with last year’s beaten finalists Dunloy taking on Aldergrove.
There is also a derby game at Kelly Park where Portglenone host neighbours Ahoghill.
Aghagallon and Creggan lock horns in a repeat of the 2021 final.
Glenravel’s return to the senior grade begins with a home game against Moneglass.
Lámh Dhearg will entertain Naomh Éanna while 2021 intermediate winners Tír na nÓg welcoming St John’s.
The format consists of 16 teams split into four even groups with the top two advancing the quarter finals.
The intermediate championship began Wednesday in the same round robin format with another round down for decision this weekend.
All Saint’s Ballymena will be among the fancied teams having competed well in Division One.
After Wednesday’s 3-12 to 0-11 win over Gort na Mona, Liam Bradley’s side have a bye this weekend. Also in Group 2, Sarsfields were 1-13 to 0-3 winners over Davitts.
In Group 1, St Teresa’s were narrow winners over Ardoyne, 2-13 to 1-14, with St Paul’s coming through 3-10 to 0-11 against Rasharkin in Dreen.
