Tyrone and Monaghan will meet again in the Ulster Minor Football Final after the Red Hands powered past Derry.

Colin Holmes’ men were full value for their win and will now meet the Farney men in the decider in three weeks’ time.

There was three between the times at the break as Matthew Downey and Luke Donnelly led the charge for their teams.

The Oakleafers finished the half strongest but still trailed 0-9 to 0-6.

In the 46^th minute of the contest the game was all but decided when Luke Donnelly was fouled before converting the penalty kick to put seven between them.

Derry would never recover as Tyrone marched onto the Ulster Final with a winning margin of seven.
