While 24 hours later, Down’s Ciaran Branagan will take charge of the crucial meeting of Meath and Mayo.
Other refereeing appointments, the meeting of Tyrone-Cork will be under the watchful eye of Maurice Deegan (Laois).
While Paddy Neilan (Roscommon) will be the man in the middle for Kerry and Donegal provincial winners clash.
