Kildare burst Corrigan bubble as Antrim crash out

All-Ireland Football Qualifiers Round Two

Antrim 0-14 Kildare 1-25

Antrim have crashed out of the All-Ireland series after suffering a fourteen point loss to Kildare in Corrigan Park.

The Saffron Army piled into Corrigan Park in their droves to sell out the home venue with a capacity capped at 2,100, many of which hoping for an upset.

In the end, quite the opposite as the Lillywhite’s led 0-13 to 0-6 at the break with Neil Flynn top-scoring for the Leinster men.

Patrick McBride led the Saffron charge kicking six points over the seventy minutes before Fergal Conway’s goal, four minutes after the break put the game to bed as a contest.
