Four in a row for Slaughtneil after turbulent start

Slaughtneil have made it four Ulster Senior Camogie title’s in a row with victory over Loughgiel in Pairc Esler.

The Antrim champions raced into an early 1-3 to no score lead with Clare McKillop bundling home after Jolene Bradley failed to gather the long ball.

Robert Emmett’s hit back almost immediately as Olivia Rafferty got in behind the defence before finding the back of the net.

Shannon Graham hit a second major for the reigning champions, shooting across goal and into the net to give Slaughtneil the lead for the very time in the game.

The All-Ireland champions leading 2-5 to 1-5 at the interval.

There would only be five point scored in the second half as Slaughtneil claimed a fourth consecutive provincial crown.
