Dr McKenna Cup: Wins for Tyrone, Donegal and Antrim

Holders Tyrone have got their 2020 campaign off to the perfect start with a six point win over Cavan at Healy Park. 

Conall McCann’s second half goal sent the Red Hands well on their way to victory after leading 0-8 to 0-6 at half time with the aid of a stiff breeze.

Donegal keeper Shaun Patton saved a late Shane Carey penalty as the Ulster champions battled from five down to beat Monaghan 1-12 to 0-14 in Ballybofey.

Patrick McBride rattled the net twice including a last gasp winning goal as Antrim beat Fermanagh 2-8 to 0-13 in Ahoghill.
