Donegal SFC: Third time a the charm for Donegal decider?

Not even extra-time could separate Naomh Conaill and Gaoth Dobhair in today’s Donegal Senior Football Final replay in Ballybofey.

Charlie McGuinness registered a major in the opening minutes of the game for Glenties from a penalty but, it would be honours even 0-9 to 1-6 at the end of normal time.

Gaoth Dobhair would have a penalty of their own in the opening exchanges of extra-time, Odhran McNiallais sending the keeper the wrong way but, his effort sailed over the bar.

In the end, it was a late score from Seaghan Ferry that once again left it honour even and sent the game to a third replay.

Both teams will have to do it all again, again on Wednesday night in Ballybofey.
