McKeever Sports granted official GAA license

MCKEEVER Sports has announced that it has secured the official GAA licence that gives them the authority to manufacture official club and county playing kit and leisurewear.

This completes the full complement of GAA, LGFA and Camogie manufacturing licences for the fast-growing Armagh-based sports company.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at a launch event in Croke Park and confirms McKeever’s authority to manufacture playing kit, in line with official rules right up to senior inter-county level in all GAA codes.

McKeever Sports has been supplying GAA clubs, schools and Provincial Councils across Ireland, and globally, for the past 15 years. This new deal to add official GAA playing product to its range sees the company starting the 2020 season on a high and achieves a major company goal to bring further competition to the GAA kit market.

Commenting on the announcement, McKeever Sports Managing Director, Padraic McKeever said:
“We have a strong track record in providing teamwear across Ireland and beyond, and being granted an official club and county licence from The Gaelic Athletic Association is another huge step for McKeever Sports.

“Our goal in securing the full licensing suite is to bring freshness, innovation and excellent service to our teams as we move into a new decade. We look forward to signing more LGFA, Camogie and men’s inter-county teams to our growing cohort and plan to try and shake things up at county level in the men’s game over the coming years.”
