BIG NEWS – From next Thursday we’re temporarily moving to digital

THIS week, the team at Gaelic Life has made the difficult decision to pause the printing of the physical copy of the paper. However, we aim to make sure that our loyal readers can still get their GAA news via our digital editions.

Due to the continuing coronavirus outbreak, we are temporarily suspending production of our physical edition to help safeguard our staff, printing and distribution network.

We appreciate that travel restrictions, social distancing and health reasons ensure that it’s not just as easy to get to the shop on a Thursday to pick up your Gaelic Life, but we are still firmly committed to giving you all the best news, analysis and entertainment from the world of Gaelic games.

Put simply, we aren’t stopping. In fact we are planning to work even harder to bring you the best GAA news and features every week.

We understand that for many of you this will be a frustrating development, but it is a choice we have made in order to protect the long-term future of the title.

The paper will still be produced as a PDF edition, as it is every week, and the current online subscribers need not worry as they will be able to get their edition every Thursday.

The team at GL are also planning to ramp up coverage on the website as well. You’ll be delighted to know that we’ll be posting news and features every day, with a view to keeping you entertained for as long as the country is in lockdown – and beyond that too.

That’s our promise to you, but we want you to make sure to stay in touch with us so that you don’t miss a single word, as we have some fantastic features coming down the line in the next few weeks and we are excited for you to read them. On top of that, our digital members also have free access to our archive of past editions, allowing you to delve back in and read about your county and club’s greatest days.

If you haven’t done so already, we are asking everyone to subscribe to the digital edition right now. We have a fantastic deal in place at the moment that gives you 50 percent off whichever package you sign up for. It may also make a fine gift for a relative or friend in these difficult times.

We also would like you to sign up to our digital email newsletter so we can stay in touch with you in order to bring you updates on any developments. And if you haven’t done so already, follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

We know that you love Gaelic Life, we want to keep bringing you the very best in coverage of this great association. We are asking for your help and patience in this situation. We know that you won’t let us down.

So, please make www.gaeliclife.com your first stop after this and help support us through this.

Yours in sport

Ronan Scott,

Gaelic Life editor
