Half forward is a line which is easy to ignore when it comes to GL Fantasy Football.
You aren’t going to win your Fantasy Mini league by having a strong half forward line. The big points come in elsewhere. However, in a tight league, every point must be hard earned, and with a bit of work you could dig up a few fantasy stars.
The ones we are predicting to make it big are Tyrone’s Conor Meyler, Fermanagh’s Ryan Jones, Down’s Caolan Mooney, Donegal’s Odhran MacNiallais, Derry’s Ciaran McFaul, Cavan’s Niall McDermott.
Armagh’s Stefan Campbell has the potential to be a big scorer.
Avoid Tyrone’s Mattie Donnelly as he could play as a sweeper, and Cavan’s David Givney is only returning from a year out so I’d wait till the championship to gamble on his form. Likewise, Antrim’s Kevin Niblock might be a gamble too.
Surprisingly there is no stand out Monaghan half forward. Kieran Hughes’s presence is a doubt after he wasn’t named to start this weekend.
