Colum Treacy’s ‘Gunner win the League’ team managed to leap into the lead in the final weekend of the NFL Fantasy Football Champoionship.
The ‘Gunner win the League team’ had been chasing the leading pack throughout this season’s competition, and in the final weekend, with a team that included six Tyrone players and two cavan player, they won the title outright thanks to a score of 1208.
The ‘Gunner win the League’ team beat ‘The Cueballs’ by 19 points, and the week eight leader ‘Ulster All-stars’ by 33 points. The ‘Gunner win the League’ team had Monaghan’s Conor McManus as captain, and Mickey Harte as manager.
Last week’s leader Ulster Allstars scored 56 fantasy points in week nine to finish fourth overall. The Cueballs team scored 74 points, while the champions had a 95 point weekend.
