Glenshane Forest. Hill sprints in the winter, with a foot of snow. Cheers Beefy.

Hard to look by the Hinphey brothers.

What do you like to do with you are not training/playing?

Bit of Netflix. Hard to beat a good series.

Kevin Hinphey without fail. Maybe it’s the boot-cut jeans he’s still wearing that cause the bother.

Tommy Doran, wild man for acting the wag.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen happy in training/during a match?

A high ball stuck between Darragh Mullan’s faceguard in a match one day. Nobody could find the ball. He ran on with the ball in his guard and scored. Lol

What’s the worst excuse you’ve heard to get out of training and who did it come from?

Steven O’Neill has had a good ween of them, recent one being he got a new tattoo and was too sore to train.

Biggest ego?

Richie Mullan

Worst/best person to sit next to on the team bus?

Worst would have to be Odhran McKeever. Never gives over about his Tinder stats. Best: Kevin Hinphey always has plenty of comical stories.

Who has the best diet, and who has the worst?

Sean Kelly easily has the worst, fond of the pints and the Pizzas. The best is Mark Craig or Thomas Brady. Eat nothing but rabbit food, them men.

Toughest opponent you have played against?

Cathal Marley, loves the swinging.

Best or worst quote you have heard from a team mate/opponent/

manager?

Big Brian McGilligan came out with a good few back in the u14s days ‘You’uns are nothing but a crowd of Yella Custard Creams’. Kieran O’Kane for Drum had a couple of classics.

Best manager you have played for?

Too many to choose from, Beefy, Big Geoff, Kieran O’Kane ‘Crazy Frog’ just a few.

What frustrates you most about the GAA?

Constantly changing the rules, let the game be. Less rules the better.

What’s the best thing about being part of the GAA?

Training and playing matches day in day out with the men you grew up with.
