Game you most enjoyed playing in?

Club- u-21 final against Lamh Dhearg won by point with last kick of the game week after winning the Minor Championship the week before. Some week.

County – Would be either beating Donegal in Minor Ulster quarter-final or beating Derry in u-20 Ulster Championship this year.

Game you least enjoyed playing in?

Paul McGirr final against Clann Eireann, or Freshers’ semi-final playing with a fractured tibia was no fun

What’s the best/worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Best-Clones

Worst- Aldergrove

Toughest training session you’ve ever been involved in?

Any training that involves 1000m sprints and pressure cookers

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Adidas /Murphys

Most inspirational individual you’ve ever met?

Andytown’s McVicker – hail, rain or snow he will be out.

Where do you like to go to celebrate?

Pd/McGlones or Sunnyhill, always good for a party.

Which team mate is the worst dancer?

Micky Armstrong needs brought back to earth after winning Strictly Come Dancing, his greatest career achievement to date. Him or Conall Shannon thinking he is MJ.

Which teammate is the loudest in the changing room?

Hard one to pick. A few boys love the sound of their own voice.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen happy in training/during a match?

Watching Ruaidhri Currie play a senior reserve hurling match in jean shorts and Vans or watching Stephen Beatty shoot. They would both be up there.

What’s the worst excuse you’ve heard to get out of training and who did it come from?

Donald Armstrong – had to bring his mate’s girl to the Museum.

Biggest ego?

Donald Armstrong again – according to him he’s Rossa’s top scorer.

Worst person to sit next to on the team bus?

Worst- Michael Armstrong would have to sit and listen to his poor maths jokes for most of the journey.

Worst/best person to share a room with on away days?

Best- Cormac McGettighan. He’s stupid enough to do whatever you say

Worst- Eoghan McMen. The smell of his feet are wild. I was with him at Feile and I woke up to him cleaning his feet at the bottom of the bed at four in the morning with a bottle of shower gel.

Who has the best diet, and who has the worst?

Worst- Cormac McGettigan. He lives off Boojum and pizza.

Best – Gerard Walsh. Alcohol-free man.

Toughest opponent you have played against?

Padraig McGrogan – Derry

Best or worst quote you have heard from a teammate/opponent/

manager?

Best ‘Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success.’ or ‘Pain is temporary, championships last forever ‘.

Worst- ‘Grass, you either cut it or smoke it, you don’t mark it’.

Best manager you have played for?

Martin Devine & Jim Connelly

or Hugh McGettigan and the da took us from u-6 right through to Minor.

What frustrates you most about the GAA?

The lack of time of given between matches for dual clubs.

What’s the best thing about being part of the GAA?

The away trips – America with UUJ is one that stands out recently, or the Sunday Club.
