Can’t beat heading to the local (Eugene’s Bar) after club games. But strictly no football talk or you’ll be buying a round.

If you weren’t playing GAA what would you be at?

I’d probably would be doing what I’m doing now but abroad somewhere like Australia or New Zealand.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Oh god there’s been a few, but when it’s wet Lissan is a mud bath so I’d say Lissan.

Which character in any film are you most like?

Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughan) in Dodgeball, owns a gym what more could you want.

Any odd items in your kit bag?

Odd gloves, old match programs and a shaker I’m afraid to open.

Who’s the biggest joker in the teams you play for?

Colm ‘Tooly’ Rice. Gives abuse to everyone, managers included.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?

Andrew ‘Bezzy’ Breslin has a number of better halves. Unsure if they’re good looking or not.

Who is the worst trainer?

Andrew Breslin always late, injured and whinging.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Rory Porteous has to get the hair just right before games or he’ll pull his hamstring.

Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips?

Kev ‘Boot’ McDonald was my room mate this year for Fermanagh which was good craic. Haven’t had any bad roommates yet thankfully.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?

Sitting beside the Cullen twins on bus journeys is good craic but when abuse starts flying at them you usually get targeted too if you’re beside them.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?

I’d keep my diet quite strict so I’d say I’d have a better diet than most. I spotted a club player outside the chippy an hour before our championship final, I’ll not name names.

Toughest opponent you have faced?

Daniel Flynn in the Hogan Cup final.

Best: Ryan you can’t shoot so don’t bother
Worst: Have a go Ryan.

Hogan Semi Final or Boston Senior championship final.

In: Matthew ‘Sharp Shooter’ Martin needs to come out of retirement soon and get us a intermediate title
