GL Fantasy Football – Full back line advice

GLFF-NFL-2016

When it comes to full back lines in GL Fantasy Football, you are really only looking for players on defences that will conceded very few if any goals.

Unlike half backs it is difficult to find a full back that will get forward and score a point or two, to increase your fantasy returns.

However, Derry’s Chrissy McKaigue, Cavan’s Killian Clarke, Antrim’s Niall Delargy, Derry’s Niall Holly and Tyrone’s Ronan McNamee all have history of getting forward and splitting the posts.

The problem is that most of those guys are likely to concede points. And a few of them, McNamee and Holly, have a history of picking up red cards as well.

Therefore, make sure that most of your full back line is made up of teams with solid defences, namely Monaghan, Armagh and Donegal to a certain extent.

Donegal’s Neil and Eamon McGee, as well as Monaghan’s Ryan Wylie and Kieran Duffy, along with Armagh’s Brendan Donaghy are solid options.

Duffy in particular is a clever pick. He has been named in the half forward line by Malachy O’Rourke.
