DREW Wylie is hoping to strike it third time lucky in this year’s All-Stars as one of seven Monaghan players on the nomination’s list.
The talented defender was also nominated for the prized individual achievement in 2013 and 2014, but although he enjoyed the night out on the tiles, he didn’t make the final cut.
He commented: “It’s always nice to get that recognition and as a player you always want to be the best you can be. You wouldn’t know what’ll happen but it’s always nice to get a night out in Dublin November anyway.”
Wylie was one of 19 Ulster players to receive a nomination, with his brother Ryan also listed among the defenders.
Monaghan have seven nominations in total, which is a record for the county and the same number received as Tyrone and Galway, while Dublin lead the way with 12 nominations.
