Ulster Club: Naomh Conaill edge Castlerahan

Naomh Conaill showed no signs nor ill effects of their county final trilogy with Gaoth Dobhair as they overcame Castlerahan to book their place in the last four.

Glenties finally claimed the Donegal crown on Wednesday night with a one point win and they held a slender advantage at the break leading 1-5 to 0-5 thanks to a Ciaran Thompson major.

The Cavan men did not register a score for 19 minutes before and in the end the sharper team prevailed.

They now progress to meet Clontibret in the semi final in two weeks time.
