TYRONE star Conor Meyler will spend the summer months playing football with Chicago club Parnell’s.

The transfer has been put through following Tyrone’s recent early exit from this year’s championship, and Meyler’s inclusion in the Parnell’s ranks will undoubtedly be a big draw among the GAA fraternity in Chicago.

The Omagh St Enda’s half-forward, nominated for Footballer of the Year last season, was one of Tyrone’s better performers in what was widely acknowledged to be a disappointing defence to their All-Ireland, culminating in a round one qualifier defeat to Armagh just over a week ago.
