Donnelly rules Kernan out of Coalisland clash

Speaking to Niall McCoy in this week’s Gaelic Life, Crossmaglen joint-manager Kieran Donnelly has ruled Tony Kernan out of Saturday’s clash while confirmed that Oisin O’Neill will play through the pain barrier.

“Oisin carried an injury into the county final and maybe it’s a wee bit of  fitness thing with him now. He had no choice but to wear the boot and he wore it right up until the Friday before the county final win.”

In Crossmaglen’s 20th venture into the Ulster championship, Donnelly speaks about the hurt of the last few years and the journey back to the summit of Armagh.

The men in black and amber are not underestimating their opponents in another instalment of a Tyrone-Armagh rivalry.

“We’re no better than any of them so every team will be looking at it the same way.”
