Tyrone SFC: Terrific Trillick claim 8th Tyrone senior crown

Trillick 0-12 Errigal Ciaran 2-4

This was a two point hammering if there ever was one as a late Peter Harte penalty added gloss to the Errigal return.

Not that Trillick will care as they took their eighth title out the Healy Park gates will a professional and at times classy display.

The Reds hit the first three scores of the game before Errigal hit 1-1 in as many minutes, Odhran Robinson firing into the empty net, punishing some slack Joe Maguire play.

Lee Brennan and James McGarrity ensured that Trillick led at the break and it would be a lead they would never relinquish.

Mattie Donnelly was deployed inside and caused havoc as, Cormac Quinn stopped the Errigal rot with a point, their first in 40 minutes.

Mattie and Richie Donnelly alongside Lee Brennan added further scores before corner back Damian Kelly added further gloss to the scoreline.

Peter Harte would dispatch a late penalty with the last kick of the game but, it was quite simply too little, too late for Errigal.
