From Odhrán Crumley in Armagh

Tyrone went goal crazy en-route to claim a barnstorming win to rip the Ulster crown from holders, Derry.

Séan Óg McAleer, James Garrity, Joe Oguz and Ciaran Quinn registered majors while Tiarnan McHugh hit the Oakleaf major.

Mickey Donnelly’s side emerged sharpest from the blocks thanks to three early scores from Mark McGrogan.

McHugh’s rifling effort into the top left corner of the net giving the holders a four point advantage.

Darragh Canavan would prove pivotal in the Tyrone emergence knocking over two fine scores before threading Conall Grimes through on goal before being brought down inside the small parallelogram.

James Garrity stepping up to nail the spot kick sending Oran Hartin the wrong way.

Séan Óg McAleer grabbed a second major on the stroke of half time, finishing soccer style into the bottom corner as the Red Hands led by seven at the break.

Tyrone would put the game to bed early in the second stanza as Joe Oguz raced clear from the restart bundling a third goal into the net.

Full-back, Conor Quinn hit the fourth goal as scores from Lorcan Quinn and Michael Conroy added scores to add further gloss to a glistening performance.
