IT’S as you were as Mickey Harte and Terry Hyland have named unchanged line-ups for Sunday’s Ulster Championship semi-final clash between Tyrone and Cavan at Clones.
Tyrone’s starting fifteen runs the gauntlet between experience and youth, with Cathal McShane, Michael O’Neill and Richard Donnelly all set to make their fifth championship appearance, while the evergreen Sean Cavanagh will see championship action for the 81st time.
Absent from Tyrone’s opening win against Derry on May 22, Justin McMahon, Rory Brennan and Conor Meyler return from hamstring injuries to take their place on the Tyrone bench, and Niall Sludden has again been trusted with the number six jersey following his impressive debut at Celtic Park.
Terry Hyland, meanwhile, has placed his faith in the same Cavan line-up that strolled to a 2-16 to 0-14 win over Armagh in their Ulster Championship quarter-final last month, fronted by inspirational captain Gearoid McKiernan. Cian Mackey has been switched to full-forward while Michael Argue will line-out at midfield.
